History
HBS was founded in 1942 when it had its first AGM - focusing on governance from the very inception to ensure sustainability making it the oldest surviving Durga Puja.
​
In 1972, HBS bought its own land and was recognized by state government as an eminent organization focused on culture, philanthropy and integrating migrants.
